Karl, I take it that you are talking about the Tecumseh 2 stroke your after, I have only one mower ,but have 2 motors, a 4.5 hp and a 5 hp that is written on their respective engine covers. I have since been told that they added a heavy duty cast iron flywheel which gives it the torque of an extra 1/2 hp,hence making it a 5 hp.Everything is otherwise exactly the same between both motors.This mower is for my personal use and is not for sale, but there is still enough around if you ask. You can buy a brand new motor (5hp) for just under $400.00, and if you have a suitable base ,this makes quite a powerful and lasting unit all round, Bruce might help you in this department as he could sell you one or give you contacts to enquire into.
