I saw on the eBay a couple of collector class Victa's.
The first one is a Victa Lightweight. I dont know anything about this model, but it looks a bit like the Victa twin.

the other was a nicely restored Monaro, maybe by a forum member. It is a real beauty!

I like both of these Victa's (my favourite)

The Lightweight (and the compact) is the single cylinder variation of the twin.

The twin runs on 2 85cc cylinders, each of which is cast as a single piece incorporating the barrel, head and 1/2 the crank case.

The Lightweight is one of these cylinders with an end cap completing the crank case.

Cheers
Ty

The gold looks not hammertone enough if you get what i mean.

Yeah the white knobs, not sure where you would fine a mint pair of them these days.

Its a credit to the owner. Neat looking mower.

The hammer-tone's there Bob.I'd say it was done from a spray gun.You can adjust the effect of the hammer-tone has by the amount of thinners you use.Although I must admit there's not a lot of shine to it.You can still get it to shine (a bit),or was it painted in acrylic?

I have been collecting mint white knobs for a while, when a fairly new mower was in recently for a service for some reason it had really good white knobs on it, the owners were happy for me to put the new age black ones on it...
