Hi all, I am after any info on the prototype edger that doesn't seem to have been produced for the late '50's early 60's Victa 18's. Anybody know anything about it? Photo's,drawings,anything.

Hi Stew, unfortunately we don't have any info on the infamous edger as the prototype didn't work and was deemed dangerous and was never produced...as far as I know; no drawings or any info exist, but I did hear once that it was to be friction driven from the lower exposed crank-shaft by a right-angle drive and a rubber wheel....

Here is a pic of a Victa 18 Special at the Victa museum in Inverell with a home-made bodgy one ...look closely behind the Victa Automatic in the immediate foreground....
