hi Bruce
I cleaned and fitted new diaphram, springs, shoe, and brass contacts..
starts first pull and the throttle control works good, when i push down on the throttle lever for power, it revs to the point where it sounds like it is going to take off.
Springs maybe..???

thanks

regards Frank

briggsboy,

It sounds like it is an air leak if it is reving really high. If it is a power torque motor check large starter 'O'ring. bigshock

hi Bruce
I put a o ring on and also one where the carby twists onto the block.

still reving for take off...
i know i am missing the ..washer that goes under the cam in the carby. would that course it to rev up for take off.
other than that. the throttle responds good relevent to where the lever is

regards Frank

briggsboy,

The carby mounting block has two screws holding it onto the cylinder. Is it loose? confused

If so it also has an 'O'ring behind it. Try replacing it. yay

We have information on the carby in the Parts list and manual area. cheers
