Hi all,
looking to adjust valve clearance on engine as is backfiring and seems to lack compression. Does anyone have a manual that describes clearance and timing mark for TDC please. Thanks for your time.

I'm told that mower has a Chinese semi-clone OHV engine that is not actually quite the same as either Briggs or Honda. I suggest you contact Rover, and see if you can get some information from them. Most likely the valve clearances will be similar to an equivalent Honda, but it is far better to get the right data from the manufacturer.

Am getting no help from Rover BRUCE CAN YOU HELP PLEASE :-)
