Hey guys,
I am close to finishing my 20" 45 restoration and I snapped the blade adjuster bearing housing on the drive side, Dohhh. Does anyone have one or could someone point me in the direction of somewhere I can get hold os one?
Thanks Guys.

Hi Grazzaa, and a warm welcome to the OutdoorKing forum. It's good to have another Scott Bonnar owner on board. I think you are after the left-hand cutter bearing housing, but as these are handed, ie. left and right handed, looking from the front of your machine, which side is the fractured one? As a new one is expensive, we don't want you to get the wrong side!

Hey dj,
It is on the sprocket side ie right as looking from the front, left if operating the machine.
Thanks mate.

Hi All,
I ended up getting a bearing housing off a 17" SB45 and have found it to be quite a bit smaller than the ones on my 20" 45. The housing is pretty much the same but the actual bearing and therefore the bearing cup is quite a bit larger. I have looked around and have not seen any reference to the larger bearing housing to suit my mower. Does anyone know where I may be able to find the correct size for my 20" 45.
Thanks guys, Graham

Hi Grazzaa, Until now, I always presumed that all models of the 45 had the same cutter bearing housings....so I just checked the SB 45 Parts List....You're right, they are different for the 20"....Here are the part numbers....451098 Left hand....451100 for the right hand. These are very old part numbers and Bruce has just run them through the Rover data base for me, and they no longer exist.... You may care to contact Keith at Turf Machinery Services on 0438 357100. He may be able to source one for you.
