Hi All does anyone know the origin of the Hurricane engines from the 1960 era Bruce had then tied in with Villiers. They were similar in appearnce etc as the Victa Special engines.Any clues anyone /////////////// Regards Joe

Hi everyone, I will be talking to an old friend over the next week who is a contractor and still using the old hurrican motors. If I can I will see what manuals and other information that he might have on the machines. In the mean time have a look at this PDF file on the villiers motor. Firstly Bruce ,congratultions on the new sit . It must have been a lot of work for someone and it is great that we can now post pics. I was just looking to see if anyone had come up with any news on Hurricane engines. I see a rope starter pulley for a Hurricane is currently on Ebay I will see if I can send you the page as an emailor members can have alook and see if it jogs any minds. Must have ago at the Pics section as soon as I can and hope others will do so. Regards to allJoe Brown
