Found this amonst the lot at Tiny's on mugga ln the other day.

Victa Mustang base from the 70's/80, fitted with an old brigs, and a rather funny home muffler job, I'm guessing the idea was to use the catcher as the muffler!

I would have bought that just for the engine lol some people do have not so great ideas....

I am yet to pick up a briggs in my hard rubbish travels, I did leave one behind though on my first week.

Looks like a 92508 with the vertical pull starter missing and a Minion (plastic) Vacujet. Not a bad engine, but of course there is no engine like a 92908. I'm guessing about 1982? And is that one of the old thick aluminium bases?

I wonder if you are allowed to put smoked grass in the council garden waste collection? I know there's a lot of demand for grass for smoking, but grass that's already been smoked by the Briggs' exhaust? Not so sure.

It certainly is strange but yet after it got some grass in it I think it would become quite affective at muffler-ling the noise.

I doubt it would be much good when you were mowing the dry stuff.
