Now you will see in this picture there is 3 wires there.I believe there was a switch that was used to turn the ignition on and off.If anybody has one.I would love to get one.I will put this part in the wanted section. After I can make sure I know exactly what Model it is etc.

I'm starting to hate myself for getting rid of the one I had! It had the wrong wheels and colour, but pretty much everything else was there.

Wow, the ignition is not looking too good there, I do hope that coil can be saved!

Cheers

Lols.Lucky I just had another look at it,I was still deciding albeit feebly of grabbing it,I knew the handle bars were wrong BUT...Someone has welded/bolted a complete set of special handle bars over the top...too funny.

Hi Blumbly, We have had a problem and that is the Magister issue lies across 2 threads, Plymouthbel's SB Model 35 and your SB Model 47. Both machines have the Magister in common.

What we have decided to do (which will make for a good archive) is to create a new thread using posts from both the previous topics for just the Magister discussion. This is now contained in Restorations and Customising > Engines > Magister Ignition Systems, as it falls into that category.

This will make it easier for anyone researching the Magister, as being buried in 2 different lawnmower threads would make it harder to find. wink
I hope you agree. grin
cheers2

You can see there is a picture of a catcher maybe if somebody knew the size and dimensions of the catcher.Perhaps I could make one.I know it wouldn't be the original, but am I ever going to find one? Also I would love to find the 4 stroke version.
