Hi Ross, the Rover 45 was a continuation of the Scott Bonnar Model 45 after the take-over....I have seen quite a few in my time, good build quality; all parts are interchangeable with SB....
Without seeing this machine in the flesh, its hard to give advice...but Ross, you've been around reel mowers and will know if its a good deal.
Don't forget, with a coat of paint and new decals and stickers and you've got yourself a Scott Bonnar!!
