Below is some interesting information regarding fuel used in Victa Motors.
Fuel Recommendations.
Fuel must meet these recommendations.
Clean Fresh Regular Unleaded Fuel. A minimum 87 octane/87 AKI (91 RON). Fuel with up to 10% Ethanol can be used.
Fuel has a limited life in a container or in a fuel tank. Storing of fuel in containers for weeks is not recommended. The fuel will deteriorate during storage and cause engine issues.
Caution:
Higher Octane fuels such as Premium, etc are not to be used due to additives that may be present could damage the engines components.
Premium unleaded fuels have higher fractions which can have similar effects as Xylene.
Do not use unapproved fuels such as E85.
Two Stroke oil does not mix effectively with E85 fuels. Do not modify the engine to run on alternate fuels.
This will damage the engine components and void the Manufacturers Warranty.
