Hi guys,

I am re-buliding the engine for etal's 1973 Victa Super 600, which is a Series 70 MKIII (Deco, Full Crank, G3 Metal Carb & Top Pull start) engine.

The flywheel/fan is in a fairly bad state, the key hole is worn pretty bad, and there is a crack starting on the cetre hub, so I would like to replace it.

I'm noticing an extra number stamped in the flywheel, that I'm not use to seeing, is there something unique about the Series 70 flyweeks used on the Super 600, or can I use any Series 70 Flywheel?

Cheers
Ty

Just thinking, does it have the extra steel ring on it like a tilt-a-cut? maybe that could be the difference?

If the belt is tight the super 600 is fine with just a regular flywheel.

I havent seen a tilt a cut flywheel on a super 600 and ive had a few through here.

I'll get a pic up soon.

Under the outer lip are a series of alloy 'bumps' but it does not feel hevier than a nowmal one.

I will weigh it tonight too!

Cheers
Ty
