These are all Howard types - although not sure of No. 4.
1. Rotary Hoes "Gem"

2. Howard.

3. Rotary Hoes "Bantam" painted green though.

4. Dragalong Plough - No that's not its name.

5. Howard.

hi guys,
and gals,
- notice a lot of the adverts show ladies operating these machines?

its great to see these photos here, but they also include an error.
these machines are from between Albany and Perth, none were mine,
but i now own the maybeMorrison.

photo 1 Howard Junior 5hp. (not a Gem)
somewhat modified, wheels probably not Howard.
Howard 8 v-twin stationary motor off military genset behind,
purchased from surplus sale and used on sawbench for many years.

photo 2 Howard Foxie, Clinton engine.

photo 3 Howard Bantam owned by my wife.
Her father painted it green, its orange underneath!
when he died, that was the one farm machine not for sale because
she used it all the time in the garden:)

photo 4 dragalong plough i am beginning to believe is a late model
Morrison cultivator / plough / hiller.
Landmaster (Kestrel model) behind.
see Morrison Mowers history on this forum, this is why i joined,
to get the manual which has a picture of one on last page.
an older one has now become public, see SmokStak:
http://www.smokstak.com/forum/showthread.php?t=159934
want more info on this machine...

photo 5 Howard 350. all original one family owned machine.
Howard Terrier with replacement engine behind.

cheers rodney.

A warm welcome to these forums.
Thanks for correcting any errors.

I would like to better understand the history of these small cultivators.
I do have a Morrison brochure for the Mark 2.
It may be of help to you.
