No it's far to buggered and to much like hard work.No what I've come up with is the purple sports has only a small dent and a small chunk missing. So I'm going to get that fixed. The guys at Baxter Engineering will have no problems with that.I have got another orange sports base from Joe and I will use that base for the green fellow.

Well.... if you go ahead with that, can you keep an eye out for a decent spare cowling, I might build the green one here up myself Also need the handle bar clamp that goes in the middle.. Pretty sure that g4 belongs on there, my one has it as well, a prmierless type.

I have a black clamp lever and bar you can have, maybe even the bolt too!
It's the clamp with the white lever form the VC-160's i'm after!
Cheers Ty

Yes well I think that's the best way to go with the bases.I know it doesn't really matter, after it's painted, but I would like to use the purple base.I do believe it is repairable. It's only the little bit at the front. The rest is fairly good.

OK this old girl has now been stripped base thrown into the scrap pile.Rest of mower has been put into a create and stored for future restore.Once I have sorted out a base for it.Currently an orange base. Then it will be restored. It just has to wait many to be done before it.
