Hi all up here in sunning Brisbane and called into a friend I have here, and found my Lightweight and Compact.A little sad but they are certainly usable and re-storable.

The red catcher is new.Just has one crack as it was sitting on a shelf and fell off.More pictures will be added when I get it home.

Seeing as how you have the spares and that extra green catcher, you should add a fairlight 400 to the collection. Just happen to have one in my shed here that owes me stuff all.

Ive got a catcher for it but its sad, real sad. Would actually be a good one to use so the others say well clear of damage.

Its one of the 2 electric catcher ones, I'll have a dig around and try to get you some pictures.

I beleive it uses the same catcher, I dont know how different the base is, but they seem to be very similar.

UPDATE:
Heres one

Its on ebay.

Will see if i remember to get a pic of the catcher i picked up in hard rubbish tomorrow.

The mower is buried under stuff up the back shed so it wont see daylight again for a while. I never got around to testing it either.

I think from a previous thread/discussion between ty and myself we worked out that the bases are different castings.

I was thinking of putting the electric motor onto an 18" frame at one stage.

I have seen a few of them come and go on eBay. Generally not too expensive. Usually cheap as chips without the catcher.

Therew was also an electric utility, the 460, I'll pop it up in the photo gallery, to keep this thread on topic.

There's a few of them around, however I do believe the Fairlight 400 is a bit trickier to get than the regular green 400.

Could you maybe pull the top (cowl) of? As I would really like to see what the motor looks like.

Found this one on the computer, its a bit fuzzy. Its not current, its worse now.

Might be a while before i can get to it.

Orange catcher, theres a black one behind it. Under that catcher are some motorbike tyres, under those tyres is the mower in question.

Thats the shed with the fixed serviced and ready to sell mowers in it.

The mess is elsewhere.

Ive got some ideas for being a bit more 'mower tidy' will see how it goes and will be sure to put up pics.

Hi Bob don't suppose you have any mufflers for lightweights and compacts in there somewhere?Actually it looks like I may also need to find another engine. As the orange compact pictured at top.Has the muffler missing and you can see how scored the bore and piston is.You can also put your finger in there,it doesn't real good at all.I have 2 lightweights and 1 compact now.I was hoping to restore all and then sell one of the lightweights, but now it's looking like I will have to wreck a lightweight and use the engine on the compact. Not happy about that.
