Greets and thanks for letting me join you here, looks like a good place to be also hoping somebody here might please be able to help with some I.D. info on my Victa 18. It has a crankcase number AA954 with a 1 underneath Seems like a really low number to me and it also has a toe ring with bigger squarer wheel cutouts than I have seen previously .Regards Loco

Hi Loco, Nice to have you on board mate.
Could you maybe pop a photo of your Model 18 up in a new thread in the Victa Frames section, along with the details you have there.
There were a number of variations througought the Modle 18's, and a photo is what will help us best tell you what you are up against.
Hope we can help you out, and again, welcome!
Cheers Ty

It sounds like a Model 5.As Mr Davis said a picture would be good. The number 1 on the bottom of the crankcase little is known about it.There is a theory that after the engine had some kind of major repair, the repairer would put that there, but that is just a theory.I would like to see it.If it is a Model 5 it's sounds like it could be the later model. The fact of the letters in front of the numbers means it does sound a bit newer.I can't say any more until I can see it as if it is a different model I could be giving you the wrong information on it. This is the model I'm thinking it is. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2011/08/full-5048-3001-100_0366.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2011/08/full-5048-3002-100_0367.jpg) Let me know if it is a different model.
Here for a good time, not a long time.
