Greetings,
Had these three mowers dropped off home this morning. Not really looked at them closely yet. In fact I dont think I want to look too closely at a couple of them.
The first is a Turner - missing a front wheel and the starting apparatus on top and the handles have been mangled with galv pipe welded in to make them longer - must have been a tall chap.
Next is a Victa Utility that shows a bit more promise - but the rope starting disc is missing - and an adjacent cover I think.
Then the best one of the three - a Pope - with the starting disc off the Victa grafted on top. All that is missing is the rewind spring - and the cover off the air cleaner. Note the next photo shows a block of foam held on with a plastic tie. The engine has teriffic compression though and will be restored.
Hope to pick up our original Pope mower fron the 1960s tomorrow. Had given it away for the motor years ago - after we had worn it out cutting inch thick marshmallows in the chook yard.
Stationary smile

[Censored] is that chrome nuts and bolts I see?Well you can defiantly send those guys here to live. They will be well looked after here.Save me from doing my two.I wished they looked half as good as that.My Utility doesn't even have wheels.Maybe I could send my there for a hoilday, might come back looking that good.

I remember seeing that one in the gallery Bob, they sure do look different.

Is that a dishwashing sponge for an air filter?

Off the top of my head i dont know what i have to help out with these ones, but i will have a look over the weekend, and see what i have around.

Cheers
Ty
