Well, I have picked up those other engines on the farm. Then I was informed about a heap of engines in a shed. Plus a few fuel tanks, and some Victa spares. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2011/08/full-2933-2802-dsc05915.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2011/08/full-2933-2803-dsc05916.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2011/08/full-2933-2804-dsc05917.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2011/08/full-2933-2805-dsc05918.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2011/08/full-2933-2806-dsc05920.jpg) The twin stuff is parts only, thats all there is Blumbly as well as the other twin engine show in a previous post. I'm no expert on them, but i think the two engines in the first picture are model 2 engines, I have run through the contents of the bucket with you, but i did not spot that little carby on the ground, it seems familiar, but off the top of my head, I'm not sure.
Picture two is getting more into my area, on the left is a Victa Series 70 MKII or MKIII, from somwhere between 1971 and 1973, the one to the right is a bitsa, the most of it looks to be a 1974 -1979 Victa Series 70 MKIV, but the head appears to be a 1970 -1971 Series 70 MKI.
The MKII/III one to the left would use a G3 carby, while the one to the right would use a G4 and should have a head like the one on the left.
The next picture appears to be a pair of 1960's 125 cc engines, from perhaps a couple of 64 utility's. The carburettor attached seems to be a 3L
You seem to have the twin stuff all worked out, and the parts down the bottom seem fairly straight forward.
Cheers Ty

Wow man your finding all the good stuff.Top photo could be either Model 1 or 2 engines.Tell me what the engine numbers are are I can let you know what they are. Most likely Model 2's but you never know.I've still got my hand up high for the Twin parts.[Censored] it's getting harder, hand has now gone bright white.I think lack of blood, but seriously if you want I'm keen.

lol You can put your hand down Blumbly - I said the the twin stuff was yours.....Cant have your arm dropping off...... You have no idea what I want for it......me neither !! You can pick them up when you force Mr Davis to take a trip down this way later this year perhaps. I will let you know the serial numbers of the two early motors tomorrow - the shed they are in now has no lights - and there's spiders. @ Mr Davis - that was a little AMAL carby on the ground. I know them from motorcycles and some small engines. Off now, back tomorrow. Stationary

Gooday. Have those serial numbers for the (supposed) model 2 engines Blumbly. 94822 96747 Re twin parts - I would prefer to swap something - depending on how much you value the parts - lol I always reckon swapping is better. The money just evaporates - but if you swap you have something both substantial and useful (hopefully). I know I will be looking for catchers for many mowers - there's a hint. Stationary

Yes they are Model 2 engines for sure. They are getting close to model 2A motors, but they are 2's.Take some pictures of the cylinders maybe they could be either model 1 or 2's.Just take pictures looking straight on the top of them. You never know. [Censored] catchers don't have a lot of them.Have a look at my Hard Rubbish series.I still have most of them, let me know if there is something in there. There is some mowers I'm keeping but not many. There are some catchers but again not many. What sort are you after?

I forgot to mention, if that engine on the right in the second picture (the Series 70 Bitsa) is no good, Keep the head.
The old Series 70 MKI 160cc head is tricky to find in good nick, as is the cylinder, but that one had a MKIV cylider, which is not hard to find at all!
Cheers Ty

Where do I start Blumbly. LOL No, I haven't even thought about what I want yet. Too busy packing to go to WA for 12 days. Basically I am doing Victa - other makes get the chop. I have 12 Victas lined up plus a pile of junque laughingly called a self propelled, plus the Sunbeam. Besides these are the Scott Bonnar Centenary model and the ATCO 18" you havent seen yet. Thanks for the tip re the head. All that stuff is good to know - if only I could remember it !! Plenty of time - will get back to thinking about it after I return Stationary

OK then I was just hoping you had, only because in the week or 2 most of the hard rubbish items would have changed hands by then.I would most likely then only have what I'm keeping left.
