Ok would most likely be an overnight stay, but accommodation is very very easy for me to arrange.Don't worry about cost,it would only be meals we need to worry about.
Here for a good time, not a long time.

Ok Ty,it depends on what part of the eurobodalla shire we want to go to.As the first pick-ups from council start on 18 July from Tilba to the Narooma bridge. Then north Narooma 25 July. Then scatted dates through August and the last date is 5 September from Surfside (North Batemans Bay) to south Durras. So there is a wide range of dates and if it requires more than one trip then so be it.As I said accommodation is not an issue.Let me know what you want to do.As I not fussy as to when I can go.

Well, seems to me the Weekend of the 16th & 17th would be a good one, start at Tilba, and work our way up to the Bridge.
I Will have to check the dates with Elysia tonight, but I cant see it being too much of an issue.
Maybe if you could get out my way friday Arvo, that will put us at a better starting point for saturday, and you can have a look at the collection, then in the morn we get on the way to Tilba, and work our way back up, finising on sunday,
If we fill up before we finnish, i would say keep going, as we may spot something better and want to swap it over.
The only issue i can think of is if we find any mowers we are both 'heart set' on, but maybe a coin toss would be the solution in this case? (Or trade-off "ok, you take that VC-Auto, I'll take this VC MKI")
Cheers Ty

Ok then sounds good to me.We can work on that as a starting point.Maybe doing the Friday would be better that way wouldn't have to travel Saturday morning, and I'm sure if we find something we both want I'm sure we will find some kind of agreement that will benefit the both of us.After all it promises to be a fun weekend without the wife woo hoo.Don't tell her I said that.

No worries, I'll confirm with Elysia and we can go from there. I'm happy to help with the driving if need be, so friday 15 sounds good.
Anyone have any "if you see X and dont want it yourself..." requests?
Cheers Ty

i have a vc mustang ,its green and i have spent a weekend fixing (i have had a second one which you can have for parts but i basically gutted the 2 and made 1 decent one and the second one is basically for spare parts). The mower has the correct catcher n everything and the mower is the remote primer version, runs well, let me know if your interested (small crack in cowl and small crack in catcher but its easily fixed with araldite). think i have placed a new set of blades on as well. ![[Linked Image from s2.postimage.org]](http://s2.postimage.org/997c8mhdb/mustang.jpg)

Hey Guys re the mower road trip....That's the weekend of the Wagga and Liverpool swap meets so can't make it for that one. Will keep in touch for future trips though esp, the BBay area sounds like a good spot (that's 29 August). I'm keen on any wind up start Victas or any flat top high arch Victa Commandos with the power torque engine.
Collecting Victa 2 stroke mowers from the 70s and 80s.

Jeffery, the one Jonno is describing would have a G4 Carby, Facing Backwards with the hose out the same side as the old G3 types.
I would suggest considering it, its part of the family, and the remote primer ones are beccoming uncommon in good nick.

This is the second phase for this mower, it's sort of in-between state.
Its not a bad peice to get now for your collection, especially if you are trying to re-create the VC-Mustang family.
It will leave you with only 2 others to consider to get all 4, and the 4th is common, so this takes out one of the trickier ones.

Sounds fair to me, I actually have one here that you can have if you like, its A steel base victa craftsman, Powertorque, dead, but in ok shape, i would say 1995 - 1999 maybe.
I'll get a pic up tonight, if you want it, let me know and I'll keep it aside for you.
Cheers Ty
