I have a victa twin for a while now in good nick and have only mowed the grass with it once! i have heard of the flywheel shearing so im a little scared to continue using it (as i would like to keep it for a while), so with that said, is anyone using their twin on a regular basis to cut the grass?

(PS: Mine goes through petrol like there's no tomorrow).

I still need to fix the weak rear spark on mine, but it currently holds enough power to easily handle the house lawn (take it to the longer stuff down the back and its over).

That said, no, and once it is completely healthy, probably not, its nice for an occasional use, but I have a 1973 VC-160 Auto Drive, and if you have self propelled, why not use it.

If i ever do take the twin into regular use, i'll let you know how that goes.

Cheers
Ty
