Good Day Gadge!

The metal needle is compatible with all Victa OEM primer cap and is designed as a direct replacement with genuine Victa orange plastic needle and yellow OEM needle. The overall length from tip to head is 10.75mm. The yellow plastic needle is a much closer in overall length. The black plastic needle is way too low. The overall length (needle height)is very critical for the displacement of the float. This metal needle will work best with own modified designed primer cap with a larger hole and a chamfered brass seat where the needle will seat on the mid section of the cone tip. With the OEM primer cap the metal needle will seat close to the far tip but will work and the only concern is the rubber tip may not last longer due to the pressure contact with the sharp round edge of the brass seat. Note that there is one particular float on the market which slightly shorter and when using the genuine or OEM primer cap, the said float will hit on the assembly before it can close the valve. So our primer cap brass seat is raised by at least 0.2mm to allow this float to work. I was determined to design this metal needle and primer cap because I saw the problem with G4 and LM Victa engines which is less understood by everyone buy you guys (ODK) already knew this and I love 2-Stroke Victa engines. For you guys (ODK), I can give you a special price for personal use only.

Anyway just to introduce myself, I am an Electronics Engineer and currently working as an EMC(Electromagnetic Compatibility) Test Engineer and very passionate with mechanical and small engines.

Cheers,
