Hi all
I have not been on the board for quite some time ( a year or two !)
It appears having 4 kids takes up heaps of your time.
Who would have thought ?
Anyhow, at the momment while the 4 of them are not trying to cause each other pain and suffering I thought if anyone has a Yardman 12HP ride on and has had any deck issues they may be able to assist. I think the model number is 13655 and the deck seems a pretty weak design and does not seem to be dropping down and forward enough to disengauge from the drive pulley enough to start the engine with no belt load on the deck/engine. My local mower bloke just shudders and tells me these machines are terrible for having worn deck linkages and when they wear nothing lines up anymore. Anyone experienced this too ?
I will attempt to attach a picture but may fail. If I do I can try again.

Thanks for the reply.
I dont think I need any pics at this stage as I can get the deck on OK but it may be helpful if you would be able to provide any details of the deck cutting drive belt.
I am just thinking as a first port of call to see if the belt I have is the right one as it may be too short ?. Unfortunately, there are no details left on the belt but if anyone has the correct part number/sketches etc for the cutting belt it would be appreciated.
