Folks - can anyone tell me what type of engine is fitted to the mower in this photo?

Photo is pretty small.

Looking at the muffler its got a sideways mounted Power Torque on it. And the 3 screws that hold the cover on.

Id say its fairly new too looking at the cover, never seen one like that, looks like the newer style one with the tank bit missing off the back of it.

Not really.
Im pretty sure its a Power Torque.

If its 2 stroke and on a Victa its bound to be a power torque.

I believe it is a "High Compression" (Victa) Powertorque (2Stroke), same engine/carby that Victa put on their Commando's etc. It will have the G4 carby but with the bigger Jet and will have the extra baffle in the muffler (I only assume it is high compression due to the fact that it is a utility)

From some research this morning, I can say you are spot-on with this your advice.
It is indeed a wide bodied, side throw Victa Utility with a Power-Torque 2 stroke engine. Quite a strong mower from what I gather.
