hi all i yesterday obtained one of theese babys the engine is a briggs code 303777 0412 01 921227111
its a twin cylinder and has a hole in the block.can anyone tell me what size the engine is as im looking to replace it also where would i find a owners manual and or parts list for this. any help will be apreciated regards mike

The first one or two digits in the first block of numbers (the model) is the engine displacement in cubic inches. Yours is 30 cubic inches, or about 490 cc. It is a fourth generation design, with vertical crankshaft, plain main bearings, pressure lubrication, and a 12 volt gear drive electric starter with an alternator.

I don't see anything on that specific model in the Outdoorking manuals section. Have you tried the B&S site? If your engine is an Intek or Vanguard (that is, it is OHV) this seems to be the illustrated parts list:

thanks grumpy.is there a manual for the mower and a parts list or any ino on them.im also trying to work out if the engine is salvageable or can i get a short motor etc

I don't see any information on Toro mowers in the manuals section.
