Jim, does the early Rancher use any of the same parts??
Someone just listed whats left of one up on eBay for $20.

Hi Mike, Thanks for the reply. I'm happy to buy all cogs & chains in good order.Just had a guy construct a few cogs for me,but I'll want more as time goes on... There's a few of these mowers come up,but mostly in other States.I think many of these early Rangers share the chain drive system. Regards Jim 03 5436 9292

Grab what mike has, i asked the guy on ebay and he emailed me some extra pics. Its pretty much junk what he has. Perhaps the steering gear and the steering wheel might be OK. The tyres are stuffed and im not sure how the alloy rims have held up. Theres no gearbox or anything of any sort in the back of it.

Sid,my unit is chain & friction plate drive,with handlebar steering..Your unit is possibly a later version.I have one of them sitting here,& might be looking for parts later.It has a steering wheel,proper axle & solidly formed 2-piece steel frame.
STILL LOOKING FOR SPARES ON THOSE HANDLEBAR STEER RANGERS, THANKS FELLAS.
