Hi guys, im just trying to find the difference between these 2 models and i cant seem to.

Can anyone point out the differences in these models and which one is preferred?

Hi Johno, the HR214 was the first model and has a bar type single blade, whereas the HRU214 (improved model) has a blade disc with swing back blades, it also has individual height adjusters....Both are 4 HP Japanese manufactured engines, both with metal cowling (versus plastic) and both have "HONDA" cast into the engine block with a serial number.

Hi Johno again, According to my friend, both are great, but his preference is for the HRU214 because of the swing back blade and height adjustment....the choice is up to you.

Japanese manufactured for both, that's what I am led to believe. This design is approximately 10 years old. Both engines are excellent from what I have been told. Chinese Honda's have only been exported for the last 5-6 years from the info I have.
As I said in the previous post, now the choice is up to you.
