Now from what I gather the G series side valve engines are the motor that put honda on the map in the 70's and when the GX OHV engines came on the scene in the 80's it was pretty much game over for the American engine manufacturers as far as quality was concerned.

Are you sure that Victa didnt offer them with that motor???

They have used honda motors over the years.
