Hello everyone.
I am a long time small (and large) engine enthusiast, tinkerer, improver (sometimes not so much but it's the thought that counts) and I have a couple of acres up in the far north Queensland Tablelands. I inherited an old Rover Lawnmaster Hydro 2950 with the property that I have managed to get going but she's pretty tired. restoring an old Stihl 032AV chainsaw, have a Dolmar one as a go-to saw. Shindaiwa brushcutter, Stihl edge trimmer, two Honda quads, a step through scooter, three cars, two kids two dogs and a very VERY patient wife.
Ride on mowers are new to me but I need to get educated pretty fast as to the ins-and-outs so that I can keep this one going long enough to save up for and get a decent one. The problem is working out what to get!. about an acre and a half of relatively good lawn ( no really thick nasty tall stuff. Not much in the way of hills either. I like to buy stuff that I can plan on having for a long time and service/repair myself. I like simple reliable and strong.
I will be subscribing to the parts section ASAP as I can see it will be very useful in the near future.
Anyway, thanks in advance for your knowledge and advicce. I look forward to reading and learning a lot.
