Hi folks
New here to this site, its very interesting and some real good q's and A's.
Can anyone tell me the cc and power output Bhp & rpms & CC of the MC Culloch proscaper 11-HD engine please.
Im pretty sure this is the engine i have at the moment.
Also have a zenaoh but thats a different topic.
I want to use this engine in a model boat and without a rough idea of the cc and rpms and hp i could end up with a disaster.
Also is there anything i can do to uprate the bhp of the motor without causing too much trouble.

Merry xmas

Thanks very much for the info.
Im suprised its as big as 28 or 32 cc, and dissapointed with such low hp.
But as long as it runs ok ill put it to good use.
Probably use it for a reliable rescue boat, that needs something with clutch.

Thanks again for the info, and so fast to reply

One reason for it having a lot less power than a chainsaw engine, is that it does not rev as fast (brushcutters seldom do).

Just a measly 1 bhp is nothing like what im used to with the model boat stuff.
Maybe i need to look at chainsaw engines ?
what gives around 4bhp ?
any ideas ?

Good chainsaw engines should produce at least 1.5 times as much power per litre as brush cutter engines. If you look for a chainsaw of about 60 cc, you should be close to what you want. However, remember that you will need a propeller designed for 14,000 rpm.
