The yare not a very good mower but fetch very nice money on ebay if cleaned up, even more if you have the catcher.

if it has reasonable compression and hasnt sheared the key or anything, i'd clean the carby and fuel system and thers realy no reason it shouldn't go. i agree with joe, they should be good but the ones iv'e had havn't been. cheers micka

I eat my words, cleaned carby totally-drained fuel tank contents into a glass jar, good way to see if water is in the fuel(petrol floats on water)in my case 5 mills of water at the bottom with 40 mills of fuel on top-cleaned out tank and filled up with good fuel(91 octaine) half a pull and away it went, cut the back lawn running through the grass trying to stall the motor.very strong motor and cut beautifully so now i will chase up a catcher for it.these mowers are supprisingly heavy compared to 160 victas which im used to.not bad for free and 2 hours repair work...ken

Hi guys, the talon is on the back of the truck and used weekly(so far so good)cuts well, plenty of grunt and i borrowed a catcher from another talon(they are a big catcher)and came across another catcher in a junk yard, like any machinary if you look after them with a regular service they will look after you...ken
