Just wondering if anyone has any tips for making your own throttle/clutch cables for older mowers. To be more precise how do you solder, crimp etc a cable to give it lasting strength.
You can buy fittings for the cable ends that have screws in them and other types that you hard solder on. It depends on the application.Here are some pic's below.

Hey Bruce/Darryl, thanks for the prompt reply. I guess I'd be after the more slender soldering option as it's anchoring into small throttle slides that gives me the most headaches. I imagine you could trim the cable end a bit with a dremel to make it a tailored fit. Do you sell these Bruce? or know where I might get hold of some?
