Hi Guys got a couple of old qualcast model h cylinder push mowers, non motorised 1930-1940 i want to restore does anyone know the correct colour scheme. problem is that there is some paint on them but they contradict each other. maybe someone has repainted in past. I know colours are a lime green and gold and maybe a red somewhere. Any help appreciated, rgds Peter

Hi Peter,
Information on the early push mowers is pretty thin on the ground; particularly with colour schemes, but there does seem to be a general theme...the handles and shaft polished wood, the cylinder reels often fire engine red, and the wheels and frame a shade of green.

Click HERE to see some examples.
Hoping this helps,
cheers2
