Hi

Anyone suggest the best match for the "blue" and "red" colours on a Qualcast (Australia) Blue Ribbon II push mower.

Seem to be a number of close matches to my faded paint (under the hand grips and inside the wheel hubs), but I thought I'd ask so I can try to match the original colours.

Hi MarkN, and a big warm welcome to the forum.
If you have any traces of the original paint, as you have suggested, under the hand grips etc, if you take the parts to any good paint store, they have the technology to computer match the original colours for you.
The original paint formula would be very hard to come by now, as early Qualcast push mower information is very thin on the ground.

Yes, the local hardware have a few close matches from the Haymes paint range, but there is, of course, some variation and rust effects with the original paint samples.

I was just hoping for a better match.

Hi Mark, I have checked a couple of UK websites, as well as Qualcast themselves, to see if they can help with the original colour scheme, but, unfortunately to no avail...
I will post if I can get any further info for you.
