Does anyone have or know where I can get the owners/service manual for this blower. Works well; just need info on how to set up carb to idle better. Thanks.

Bruce, thanks a lot. Got em. Is there an owners manual or something on carb adjustment for this unit. It's a small 2 needle affair and I've tried the usual settings off fully closed, but still very hard to start and no-idle. Sparks good, compression good. Have disassembled and blown out carb passages 2x. Thanks.

LarryAsh,
I want you to have a look at a couple of things.

1. Check the fuel line hose that it does not have any pin holes in it. Also make sure that the line has not got sticky (when you squeeze the line together it does not seperate)this will reduce the fuel flow.

2. Check the fuel filter in the tank and if it is slightly dirty replace DON'T TRY TO CLEAN IT.

3. Then adjust the high needle to 1 turn & low needle to one and a 1/4 turn. This is your base setting. Then you adjust the low setting till you get it to go to high speed without any hesitation then set the high speed to peek and back off 1/8 turn.

If this does not work let me know and I will get you to check a few more things.

As to a workshop manual I don't have one.

Tx Bruce. Will check and try ur suggestions. Fuel line is new, but I have reused filter. I used to start it by pulling thru numerous times with just the choke, as primer bulb had dry rotted away and I didn't replace that till this year. It would eventually start that way. Now I gotta be sure it's actually priming; I see bubbles moving back to the tank when I push it in (although doubt this is cause of poor idle).

Bruce, again tx for advice. Working better, but still can't get to idle by itself. Starting a bit easier. I usually run it at full throttle for better engine cooling.

LarryAsh,
What is the piston and cylinder like?
Let me know if if either have scratches on them.
