The name is Andries Olivier from The Dark Continent. I'm a cop, knifemaker, jack of all trades and enjoy building, fixing, restoring and modifying "stuff". I just picked up a Victa 8-26E series 7 (never seen anything like it before) from a friend and was looking for info and spares on the web when I stumbled on this site. I decided to join in the fun since there seems to be quite a few knowledgable people around. I've already started stripping it down for a complete rebuild and might even consider building it into a racer.

Anyhow, I will keep my questions for the appropriate forum topic.

Olivier aboard to our forum. It will be great to have the force with us to help keep everything in control here, not that we have any problems with members.

Anyway I hope that you enjoy it here and at any time you need help with anything relating to repairing equipment, myself and other members are more than willing to give advice.

Also if you can can you post some pictures of before and after with your ride on mower so we can all see the progress. The reason I ask this is because it helps new members identify equipment in the future.
