Hi to All,
Well guys, I'm here on my Dad's computer here in Brisbane.I have travelled up here to celebrate his 93rd birthday, which was on the 15th; his party is on this arvo at 3pm. (he's having about 60 people join him) and I am performing in a band with my cousin to provide a little entertainment. It's being held at the Croque club here in Brissy which has beautifully manicured greens and a really nice Alroh reel mower... (I'd like to take that home with me, lol)

Will be havind a few drinkies later in the day, so I thought I'd better write this early....
Best wishes to you all,
cheers2

Hi Darryl
Sounds like you had a nice time here in Brisbane. Sounds like your father is going pretty well too!!

Good news on my mower front. My brother has agreed to allow me to have dad's Alroh. Its a model 20BDB but I have been unable to find any pictures and Alroh themselves say they dont have manuals / pictures but provided a parts list. A 9 blade reel will set me back $546.

i now need to find a reputable service techo up here in Brisbane to have a look and see what needs to be done to bring it back to serviceability.

Does anyone know of people up here with the skills ?

best regards

Rob

Hi to All,
Thanks for your good wishes, the party was a tremendous success and Dad really enjoyed himself. grin

Well, I've just got back home to Wagga and the warm weather is still with us....as Joe would know, we've had some pretty hot days here and the old lawn is looking a bit worse for wear and unfortunately with the water restrictions I can't see any way of getting it back in shape....the weeds are having a field day!! mad
I see that we have a few new members to the site and that everyone has been posting well.
It's nice to go on holiday, but it's good to be back home. grin
Best wishes to All,
cheers2

Funny thing is Darryl, while you guys and griffith have bad restrictions leeton has none! we have volantary level 1 restrictions.

So every night I am out there pumping out the water at the moment, the front lawn is coming up a treat laugh

Its great to hear that your father enjoyed himself and you got home safe.

cheers
