Late last year I managed to acquire 2 green Lightweights with one spare chassis and 1 red one. I have restored one green one with another one still to go. The red one will stay as is, I will clean it up. I could not find a paint colour in spray tins that was close to the original green so, I just went with the closest I could find. I will get some paint that is closer made up at some stage in the future. I am also checking out getting some Lightweight stickers made for the front of the cowl.

Well done it looks really good, how did you go about repairing the damage to the deck?

That deck, in the pics is not the original broken one. I have scored a total of 3 lightweights, another green one which had a perfect deck and the red one which has a perfect deck.

I have since had that broken deck welded up and I will bog it and sand etc.

Hi MVC,

If you're getting some cowl stickers made up would you consider getting some extras done to sell?

I'm after at least 2 and might consider a couple of spares if this helps to spread the cost for you?
