mine just stopped dead today been right over the common stuff like fuel and plug etc but it just wont go lol!.. conked out on me while in use if thats any hint to anyone ?

has no spark, plugs getting wet, head gasket n stuff all ok but just wont go !

If you pull one of the wires out of the back of the carby that will disable the kill switch to rule that out.

Did you try a new plug?

Otherwise I would be pointing my finger at a bad ignition module or a ignition module with a bad earth. Or the ignition coil itself.

Yes i think it must have been the module, coz I just put the coil off the dead motor onto another engine & slipped it back on the mower base & its running like a treat..

replaced top Oring & primer plate oring, a new head gasket & plug while I was at it, shouldnt need touching again for a while - 1st pull now !.
