I have a Homelite 2 cycle leaf blower/vac that won't stay running. With the full choke on and throttle pulled all the way, AND it's flat on the ground it runs...If I move the lever to the middle or high position it quits, or if I lift the blower it stops. I also noticed that when I depress the choke bulb, fuel drips and I don't see the bulb filling with fuel. Is this related? Is there a diaphragm or something that is bad?...any help would be greatly appreciated.

First thing I would check is the fuel lines,
see if there is a crack in one of them, see
if they are hard and brittle, if so replace
them. If this is not the case a carb kit and
cleaning is in order, service the air filter,
check the filter in the tank.

Let me know how you come out

Bill

Bill,

You were correct! It was a cracked fuel line, so after a quick repair, servicing of the air filter it runs like new again!

Thanks for the help.
