I have a Homelite 2 cycle leaf blower/vac that won't stay running. With the full choke on and throttle pulled all the way, AND it's flat on the ground it runs...If I move the lever to the middle or high position it quits, or if I lift the blower it stops. I also noticed that when I depress the choke bulb, fuel drips and I don't see the bulb filling with fuel. Is this related? Is there a diaphragm or something that is bad?...any help would be greatly appreciated.
First thing I would check is the fuel lines, see if there is a crack in one of them, see if they are hard and brittle, if so replace them. If this is not the case a carb kit and cleaning is in order, service the air filter, check the filter in the tank.
