Engine:McCulloch 2 cycle leaf blower

Symptom:Starts up fine, cold. After 2-3 minutes it
just dies, no sputter or cough. When it cools it's good
for 2-3 minutes. Appears tempature dependant, the warmer
the day, the earlier it shuts off.

It has electronic ignition and kill(off/on) switch. The carburater
"looks" pretty new.

Any advice?

Check your spark immediately after it dies,
if it has spark then take the fuel cap off
and back on, might be a clogged vent in the
cap and when it uses up the air in the tank
and will start soon as more seeps in. Oddly
enough, a bad spark plug can exibit this
condition also. Failing all these tests,
a bad fuel line is next, either leaking air
or collapsing from the heat.
