Hope someone can help me.
My Victa commando appears to run too fast at full throtle to the point of causing the machine to vibrate abnormally forcing me to move the lever back to about 3/4 of full throtle, however when I do the machine runs roughly and lacks power.
Any suggestions appreciated.
Regards, John

John, What motor is on it a power torque or a full crank engine? If it is a Power Torque engine I would be looking at the top 'O' ring as well as the 'O' ring on the carby mount. If it is a full crank engine I would be looking at the top seal and checking that first but until you tell us what motor is on it including the carby we are unable to give you the correct advice.

Hi John, and a big warm welcome to the forum. I hope that we can help you with your problem. Mate, would it be possible to post some pics of the machine, particularly the engine and carby? This would make it easy to identify the engine type and carby model.
Please do not PM me asking for support. Please post your questions in the appropriate forums, as the replies it may receive may help all members, not just the individual member. Kindest Regards, Darryl

I would suspect its a powertorque, I have never seen a full crank commando.

Hi Guys,
Thanks very much for your assistance.
My machine has a power torque V40 engine with a G4 carby.
I am quite technically minded but completely new to fixing lawn mowers so any pictures on how to swap the O rings would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards, John

Check to make sure the vacuume line to the back of the carb is in place. also try prying the diaphram cover off the back of the carby and and see if the diaphram has unseated along its edge.
