Hi guys.
Been seeing some stuff for sale claiming to be Victa Automatic mowers or parts. Just wondering how to identify a genuine base for instance aside from one fitted with the flaps/cables? My limited knowledge of identifying Automatics relates to these items: Carbie with 2 connections - Throttle cables from front and rear flaps, different choke assembly to specials, different fuel tank cap. Also read somewhere that engine numbers were between 100,000 & 130,00 I think and pull starter had rounded alloy handle and wire rope? Is this Info correct and what else can be added to the list for I.D.? Cheers!

There were threaded holes on both left and right edges of the base from memory.

Though there were so many variations on the victa special base it has got me stuffed also.

Yes joe, that is, both sides had theaded holes. As for engine nunbers don't ask me....
