VC 160 on the Central Coast

This could be interesting for a VC Fan. As a cutter these are a really good thing. Having had one, I would say that my honda is only on a par with the quality of the cut these things can deliver.

I got a couple of these old beasts, managed to find them at the local recycle centre here in New Zealand. All they needed was a good carby clean and away they went. They give a really good finish as do my VC160 Mark3 and Mark4. If I lived over in Auzzie I would happily buy another.

Hi All,

I won this one off ebay. I replaced the wheels as the rears were gone, de-greased the motor, cleaned the carbie out, gave it a service and off I went and mowed the lawn with it.

It makes a good addition to the 66 corvette 2, 70 VC160 auto drive, Rover Super4 21 auto drive, 88 Rover regal and a Victa mustang Ultima.

The first resto is nearly finished for the corvette, only the chrome work to finish.

Keep you informed.

Regards

Paul

The collection is growing, now for the restoration part.

Cheers

Paul
