Hi All,
I have a problem with my Victa Mustang Ultima. The motor has performed faultlessly until now (12 years). The problem is that the motor starts and runs but when you accelerate, it feels as if it is starving of fuel. If you back off quickly it will idle again but wont rev. If you pump the primer continuously then it will rev up but when you stop pumping, it dies. I have stripped the carby, and cleaned it out, but still nothing.. Help me...
Many Thanks
Paul

The ultima carby doesn't have a needle... Unlike a B&S the monoblock design. The carby has 4 jets inside. There are no adjustable parts.

moxonvee, The Ultima carby is a alloy block and you will need to replace the 'O' rings in the bowl and also in the centre jet as this is a common problem with them.
