hi gents,picked up this old girl from a garage sale this morning,all it needed was some fuel line and the tank cleaned out and she went. i finally got a mower with a hurricane engine ! pretty happy for $25

i plan to do as much as i can,it has one bent steel wheel which i will try to get straightened,on the fuel tank it has all its original stickers including the distributors stickers,i will just clean it really well as i don't think i will be able to get them redone.the body will get steam cleaned and repainted if required,it depends on stickers once i get all the dirt off. it has bmx hand grips on it at the moment,if any one knows what the originals look like please let me know. i have never seen one of these before .this is as i got it.all i did was start it i would love more info on this machine if any one has it
Hi Steve, glad to see that you are giong to restore it, I understand about the decals, it is a real pain that there is not a company that can reproduce them for us cheaply, as some resto's are hard to complete without them or in some cases they have been sprayed over.... Also I agree that there is little or no info on some of the earlier machines made in Oz, it is a real shame. Can't wait to see some pics as you go along. Best wishes with it....
