Hi to All, I have just fitted this toolbox (ex Model 17 Supercut) to my Model 45....Very handy if I want to make adjustments on the run, or maybe tighten a loose nut etc....Here's a pic, the original box was very rusty and bent out of shape but with a little TLC and some Galmet 'Jade Green" hammertone it came up OK, what do you think?

Sure is pretty. Can you keep the crankcase that spiffy in everyday use? I can't even keep it from caking up with thick crud. To keep it nice I'd have to use solvent and water, which makes a mess underneath, and causes all the wrong bits of the mower to rust up.

Hi grumpy, no mate, I have no probs cleaning the old girl and it is used every week in the summer.... I wait for it to cool down, I then use an old bannister brush to clean all the grass and crap off, and if necessary, hose of with water and dry with a flannel cloth....ezy peasy
