Hi folks. I have a Homelite 550 in a box, in bits! The spark plug exploded, I think the chain seized from lack of oil; it has automatic and manual chain oil feed. I am not sure about bearing, piston and cylinder damage as that assembly is still intact. I do not want to spend too much on it; more than the saw is worth. Does anyone know how good this saw is; that is have you owned or used one? Also does anyone have a copy of the parts view so I can put it back together, this happened many moons ago while cutting a giant messmate gum tree.
