Hi I have a husqvana lth2142 drives ok soon as I engage the cutter the motor vibrates badly .
Have replaced all the bearings on the deck , new belt , blades are new and checked balance.
Engine bolts are tight PTO looks ok .
Motor runs at normal RPMs
Any ideas don’t know what else to look for.
Stumped !

It is a blade balance problem. Remove the cutter belt and then run the motor and engage the PTO, should get no vibration

So you say the vibration occurs when you engage the cutter then I'm thinking bent shaft. Remove the PTO and run it again or put a dial indicator on the shaft and with the plugs out rotate the motor slowly and check the runout. There is a degree of vibration when the cutter is engaged because there is a lot of bits hammering around, but you will have to check the crank for runout

And could a bent spindle shaft. I know a lot users hit tree roots here and bend the spindle shaft(s). I just had one this year to do this. Came in with a broken spindle housing and replaced the whole spindle. Less than two weeks he comes back with the same side broken again with bent blades and the other spindle shaft bent. He said he ran over a tree stump.

He was cutting a neighbor yard for free but it cost him nearly $600 to repair the mower twice. My warranty doesn't cover stupid.
