Too wet to mow a week ago but a few of days of lovely sunny Spring weather and things are crunchy underfoot again, grass and weeds a'growing so broke out the trusty old Masport 635, been slumbering since March when it had an oil change, filled up with some old ULP 91 and it fired up with a couple of revs with the drill. Gave up on trying a cold start with the cord on this machine which has the vertical pull start system, although OK when it's warmed up.

Mowed several hundred square metres, got 5 catcherfuls of clippings for mulching, gave the leg muscles a workout, great to be back behind a mower again. Not sure which I enjoy more - mowing, brushcutting or chainsawing - they're quite fun things to do compared to the weeding, pruning, netting fruit trees, sieving compost, fixing rutted driveways and all those other chores SWMBO wants me doing:-)

G'day MM,

Sounds like you couldn't wait to get out there back to work again.

Cheers
Max.
